How to Play aUNO

Match colours and numbers, play action cards, shout aUNO on your last card.

Start playing

Goal

Be the first to play every card in your hand. When you go out, you score the points left in everyone else's hands. First to the target score wins the match.

Your Turn

Play one card that matches the top card by colour or by number/symbol. Can't (or don't want to)? Draw one card — if it fits, you may play it, otherwise your turn ends.

Action Cards

Skip: the next player misses a turn. Reverse: play changes direction (with 2 players it acts like Skip). Draw Two: the next player draws 2 and misses their turn.

Wild Cards

Wild: play on anything and choose the colour. Wild Draw Four: choose the colour and the next player draws 4 — but only if you have no card of the current colour. The next player may challenge a bluff.

Call aUNO!

When you have two cards left, press aUNO! before playing your second-last card. If someone catches you with one card and no call, you draw 2.

Scoring

Number cards count their face value, action cards 20, wild cards 50.

Room hosts can also turn on house rules: stacking, draw until playable, jump-in and 7-0 swap.
