Choose trump and win three of five tricks.
How to play
Partners sit opposite. Use 24 cards, nine through ace. Accept the upcard suit or pass; after four passes choose another suit. In round two the dealer must choose. The dealer picks up an accepted upcard and discards. Trump jack ranks first; the same-colour jack belongs to trump and ranks second. Follow effective suit. A lone maker plays without their partner. Makers score 1 for three or four tricks, 2 for five, or 4 for a lone sweep; defenders score 2 for a euchre.
